Supported by a group of musicians in constant change, is touring the eighties in what is called Never Ending Tour . Many great artists have played with him, including John Fogerty , The Band , Tom Petty , Joan Baez , George Harrison , The Grateful Dead , Johnny Cash , Willie Nelson , Paul Simon , Eric Clapton , Patti Smith , Emmylou Harris , Bruce Springsteen , U2 , The Rolling Stones , Joni Mitchell , Jack White , Merle Haggard , Jeff Lynne , Neil Young , Van Morrison , Ringo Starr , Mark Knopfler , Stevie Ray Vaughan , Carlos Santana ,

    The Byrds , Roger McGuinn , Ramblin ‘Jack Elliott and Stevie Nicks . Although the results as a performer and record live constitute the backbone of his career, is writing the songs to be generally considered his greatest contribution. Dylan has been awarded several times. His albums have received Grammy Award , Golden Globe and Academy Awards , and he was included in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame , the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame . In 1999 was inserted by TIME of the hundred most influential personalities of the twentieth century and in 2004 was ranked as the second greatest rock artist of all time by the magazine Rolling Stone , preceded by the Beatles . His album Modern Times , published on 29 August 2006 he was named Album of the Year by the magazine Rolling Stone .

    In January 1990 the French culture minister Jack Lang has appointed Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres in 2000 he was awarded the Polar Music Prize by the Royal Swedish Academy of Music and in 2007 the Prince of Asturias Award . It has been proposed several times for the Nobel Prize for Literature and was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for lifetime achievement in 2008 .

    Bob Dylan in the sixtiesBob Dylan, born under the name Robert Allen Zimmerman ( Duluth , 24 May 1941 ) is a songwriter and composer U.S.
    Also a renowned writer , poet , painter , actor and radio host , is one of the most important figures of the last fifty years in music, in the popular culture and, according to many of the literature.

    Most of his best-known songs dating back to the sixties , when the artist has set as a key figure in the movement, the American protest movement. Songs like “Blowin ‘in the Wind and The Times They Are A-Changin ‘ have become the anthems of the movement anti-war and for civil rights .

    The texts of his early songs address topics political , social and philosophical and literary influences are affected by, challenging the conventions of pop music and appealing to the counterculture of the time.

    Over the years, Dylan has expanded his musical style and personal touch in reaching many different genres as folk , country / blues , gospel , rock and roll , rockabilly , jazz and swing , and even popular music English , Scottish and Irish .
