The Rolling Stones


The Rolling Stones is a band British of rock originated in London . Since its U.S. tour in Alexis Korner (left), leader and founding member of Blues Incorporated , considered the pioneer band R & B movement in Great Britain1969 called themselves “The rock and roll band the world’s largest.” [a] was founded in 1962 by Brian Jones , who was joined by Mick Jagger , Keith Richards , Ian Stewart , Geoff Bradford and Dick Taylor . Tony Chapman (another quote to Mick Avory ) supported them in the battery during first presentations. After the departure of Bradford, Taylor and Chapman, joined bassist Bill Wyman and drummer Charlie Watts instead of the latter two, respectively. At the request of his manager, Stewart was removed from the lineup in 1963 , but continued to work in the recording sessions and as his road manager. Brian Jones was sacked in 1969 and died shortly afterwards and replaced by guitarist Mick Taylor , who leave the group in 1975 and would be replaced by Ron Wood .

Led Zeppelin

Founded in 1968 by guitarist Jimmy Page , who had belonged to The Yardbirds , to include training in John Paul Jones as bassist and keyboard player (that Page knew from previous work with The Yardbirds), vocalist Robert Plant and John Bonham the battery (which had coincided with Plant in The Band of Joy).

Led Zeppelin had elements of a broad spectrum of influences, including blues , the rock and roll , the soul , the Celtic music , the Indian music , the Arabic, folk , and even the country .

Life
Janis Joplin was the daughter of Seth Ward Joplin, an employee of oil company Texaco , and Dorothy Joplin (born East) was born and had two younger siblings, Michael and Laura. Since she was often alone during her childhood, she turned to art and early poems. After extensive reading of Time magazine she began, blues – and folk music to discover for themselves. Their first public appearance was in 1958 at the Halfway House.

The Doors were an American rock band . The group is one of the most influential bands of the 1960s.
The band was The Doors 1965 Jim Morrison and Ray Manzarek on the beach in Venice Beach ( California based). The name was inspired by the essay by Aldous Huxley The Doors of Perception ( The Doors of Perception ), since the experiences of his Morrison Meskalinkonsums expansion of its perception as felt. Aldous Huxley took the title of his essay by quoting William Blake’s ” The Marriage of Heaven and Hell . ” It states:

If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear to man as it is, infinite
If the doors of perception cleansed, the people would all appear as it really is: infinite
After Morrison Manzarek recited some of his compositions (including Moonlight Drive), was that of Morrison’s poetic potential so impressed him that he proposed the formation of a band.

Slipknot


Slipknot ( slip knot, a type of executioner node ) is an American, controversial Nu-Metal – and alternative metal band from Des Moines , Iowa , which was founded in 1995. A special feature of the band are concealing face mask until the 2004 release, “Vol 3: (The Subliminal Verses) “all the band members wore also still uniform outfits.

Slipknot’s origins lie in the Basement Sessions of 1992, the basement of Anders Colsefini, a co-founder of the band, took place in that time the band was still ‘Face Pain’. As part of a session was already a part of the songs on the later demonstration . 1996 Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat are listening album. The only 1,000 copies limited edition album attracted the attention of several major music labels . 1999 under Roadrunner Records debut album “Slipknot” was released to her. Although the harsh, aggressive sound of the band a more limited distribution of radio stations and music television episode had to, the album sold very well. Also by her spectacular emergence on the stage the band quickly grew a large following.

Kittie


Kittie was founded in 1996 by Morgan and Mercedes Lander. Fallon Bowman was added, as she and Mercedes are met in physical education. Their first bassist was Tanya Candler, who left but in the winter of 1996 (before the first album) the band due to health problems. It was replaced by Talena Atfield.

2001 Fallon Bowman left Kittie and started a new project called Amphibious Assault. Fallon’s position on the guitar was later replaced by Jeff Phillips, who had previously worked as a guitar technician Kitties. He played but only at live performances in public and was never regarded as a full member of the band.

Bush bandThe Bushes are a band English of alternative rock from an active 1992 . Their style is called post-grunge , to highlight the influence that the wave of groups grunge has had on their music.

In December of 1992 the singer and guitarist Gavin Rossdale , and the other guitarist Nigel Pulsford met at a concert in a club in London and decided to start playing together, creating a sound aggressive and energetic yet melodic, fruit mediation of their varied musical influences.

No Doubt

His music was in its infancy deeply influenced by rock and ska pop, then evolve more towards soft rock . They are also influenced by Jamaican reggae styles, having performed on numerous occasions with Jamaican artists such as Lady Saw . In 1992 they released their debut album, No Doubt , which was not as successful as expected, but achieved fame thanks to his third album Tragic Kingdom , 1995, which helped the revival of ska in the 90s’ and reached the Diamond Record on the United States . The third single, ” Do not Speak “, set a record after spending 16 weeks at number one the Billboard Hot 100 .

Following this public four years after Return of Saturn that one had a minor commercial success can not match the success of their previous album and poor performance of both commercial and critics. Only a year and a half after, in 2001, the band released Rock Steady , who came to claim the success of the band off which of hits like ” Hey Baby “and” Underneath It All “, with which the band won two awards Grammy .

In 2003 the band released the compilation of greatest hits The Singles 1992-2003 along with the single ” It’s My Life “(cover of Talk Talk and a year after Gwen Stefani launched her solo career, which had several collaborations including the bandmate Tony Kanal , while guitarist Tom Dumont began his side project, Invincible Overlord . The first single and the only one of this album is “Trapped in a Box.” Between regular jobs, “Gwen and Tony worked in a business, Adrian, the drummer was a waiter, and Tom had a shop that rented out musical instruments, and studied art faculty-Gwen, Tom, music, and studied psychology and Tony Adrian – managed to record this album with just $ 13,000 budget.

The album was not as successful as expected despite the comments by the president of the label: “Stefani would be a star in five years.” Reason did not lack, except that this did not happen in five years. After the unfortunate disaster in this first record, the record company lost a little faith in the group, withdrew all financial support to the significant result that no single was not promoted more, there was no concert tour and was even more recording budget songs.

Lonestar


Lonestar,_December_2007Lonestar is a group of country music consisting of Cody Collins (lead vocals), Michael Britt (lead guitar, vocals), Keech Rainwater (drums) and Dean Sams (keyboard, vocals). Until September 2007, Richie McDonald was the lead singer of the group. He went to try a solo career. John Rich of the duo acctuellement Big & Rich had left the group as bass player until 1998 .

Lonestar made its debut in the U.S. charts of country music in 1995 with the single “Tequila Talkin. Since that initial success, the group $ 27 chart singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, nine of which have reached the first place.
The band recorded eight albums plus a compilation of their best titles. Three of them were certified gold.
