‘N Sync was a youth group composed of five members (Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and Justin Timberlake) who started his career in 1995 in Florida, USA.
The band name was born from the merger of the last letters of the name of the members (Justi N, Chri S, Joe Y, Jaso N-replaced since almost the beginning of Lance and J-C). Besides the English name refers to the synchronicity that exists between the voices of the boys.
Their first album “* NSYNC” was released in 1998 and debuted impressively in Europe and the United States, especially in the teen female audience. In this disc are removed the hits “I Want You Back” and “Tearin ‘Up My Heart.”
That same year, taking advantage of the great success they had, in the United States released a Christmas album entitled “Home For Christmas.” Goes on sale the same time the European version titled “The Winter Album.”
In 1999, in the midst of its peak with legal problems with his former manager Lou Pearlman. After solving the trial, get a new representative, Johnny Wright and thanks to him signing with a major label: Jive Records.
Subsequently, in March 2001, featured their new album “No Strings Attached.” This album became very popular and managed to sell 2.4 million copies in just one week. In this album draws the singles “Bye Bye Bye”, “It’s Gonna Be Me” and “This I Promise You.”
That same year, in mid-June comes “Celebrity” also managed to sell in its first week of release a whopping 1.8 million copies. This album is considered the most mature of the group, as songs like “Gone”, “Pop” and “Girlfriend” also have been great successes, demonstrate the fusion pop – R & B Album.
On the other hand, the pop band recorded with Gloria Estefan, the theme “Music of My Heart” for the soundtrack of the film “Music of the Heart.”
The group has also appeared on TV several times. Sample characterization that has been in animation on “The Simpsons” and his appearances in the series “Clueless,” “Touched by an Angel,” “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch” and “Robot Chicken.”
The group decides to take a break in 2002 because its members wanted to work on their own projects independently.
Justin Timberlake released his debut solo album titled “Justified” in November of that year, and later published “FutureSex / LoveSounds” in 2006.
JC Chasez comes on the heels with the album “Schizophrenic,” appeared in February 2004.
Kirkpatrick for his part has been involved with several bands of indie / punk rock, and has also lent her voice to children’s TV programs like “The Fairly OddParents.”
Bass made his dream come true, after becoming a certified astronaut after months of training in Russia. In turn, operates an independent film company (Bacon and Eggs) and starred in his own film “On the Line”, along with another ex-member of N Sync , Joey Fatone.
Finally, Joe Fatone has participated as an actor in the films “My Big Fat Greek Wedding,” “The Cooler” and “Homie Spumoni.” He has also participated on Broadway.
