Marilyn Manson (born Brian Hugh Warner on January 5 of 1969 in Canton , Ohio ) is a composer , singer , actor , writer , painter and filmmaker U.S. , known for his controversial personality and image as a vocalist and leader of the band of industrial metal Marilyn Manson . His stage name is formed from the names of actress Marilyn Monroe and murderer convicted Charles Manson .

Early Life:
Marilyn Manson was born in the city of Canton , in Ohio , is the only son of the couple formed by Barb Wyer and Hugh Warner . His father was Catholic and his mother who suffered from attacks of paranoia religion was Episcopalian . According to his autobiography The Long Hard Road Out of Hell , Manson is German and Polish ancestry from her father, was raised with religious beliefs of her mother. He attended Catholic School Heritage, although years later moved to Cardinal Gibbons School, graduating in the year 1987 . In 1990 , she attended Broward Community College and graduated as a journalist for the magazine of the south of Florida Lifestyle Magazine, 25th Parallel which allowed him to make his first contacts with music , especially with the artists he interviewed.
Music:
In the year 1989 , Marilyn formed in Florida the band Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids (for the year 1992 the name was shortened to Marilyn Manson ). In the early years of the band he was involved with several musicians with whom he recorded his first album, Jeordie White (better known by his stage name Twiggy Ramirez ) and Stephen Gregory Bier Jr. (better known as Madonna Wayne Gacy ), Manson not only was part of The Spookie Kids but also participated in several side projects such as: Satan on Fire, a fake group of Christian metal where it touched the low and battery on Mrs. Scabtree a band formed in collaboration Jeordie and his girlfriend Jessicka ( vocalist of the band Jack Off Jill ).
In the summer of 93 , attracted the attention of one of the most important exponents of the metal industry at that time, Trent Reznor the lead singer of Nine Inch Nails . Reznor took up the production of the first album the band in the year 1994 called Portrait of an American Family which achieved gold certification in the United States , with a larger number of sales that topped 500,000 copies sold and was distributed by the label Nothing Records (owned by Trent Reznor). Marilyn appeared as guest vocalist on the album Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood of the rapper DMX , and the album 2000 Years of Human Error band Godhead , the only album produced by her record label Posthuman .
