Shawn Corey Carter (born December 4 in 1969 in Brooklyn , New York ), better known as Jay-Z or a variety of nicknames (Jigga, Jay-Hova, Hova, Young Hov, Jigga-Man, P-beach) , is a rapper and current president and CEO of Def Jam , which owns The 40/40 Club, and also owns part of the franchise New Jersey Nets of the NBA .
It was one of the most prolific and successful rappers during the final decade of the 90 and early twentieth century. Early life
Thawin nicknamed “Baby Flow” is from the Marcy Houses housing complexes in the neighborhood of Bed-Stuy, Shawn Carter was abandoned by his father Adnes Reeves when he was twelve, so that his mother, Gloria Carter, had to order it alone.
