On 06.08.1977 Kanye Omari West in Atlanta (Georgia, USA) was born. He is a rapper and producer.

He released his debut single “Through The Wire” after he had recovered from a serious car accident, the text he had already completed. The debut album from Kanye West titled “The College Dropout” was released a year later, in 2004.

In 2005 he won three Grammy Awards, ten nominations, for Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song and the Songwriter Award in the category of R & B. The same year also won an MTV Video Kanye West Award for the video for “Jesus Walks”.

A year later, he caused a stir at the MTV Europe Music Awards. After the winner was announced Kanye West jumped on stage and defamed the winner in which he described the competition as a farce if he did not win.

End of 2008, then appeared the album “808s & Heartbreak”. The first single was “Love Lockdown”, Kanye West after the song had already been at the MTV Video Music Awards performing 2008th
